En cuanto a mi experiencia con el uso de blogs, he trabajado con ambas plataformas, wordpress y blogger, pero en ambos casos se me ha hecho un tanto complicado, debido a que no soy muy diestro con las computadoras y con plataformas web, aunque le tomo me cuesta familiarizarme con las funciones, logro manejarlas con algunos errores que cometo. La diferencia entre estas dos plataformas es que el blogger necesita el uso de una cuenta en gmail, y la similaridad que ambos poseen es en cuanto a las funciones de subir videos y contenido para compartir y con ayuda de algunos contribuyentes.

Comentarios en Blogger y Tumblr

En la plataforma de Tumblr no puede cargarse ningun tipo de comentarios y en la Plataforma de Blogger es necesario un permiso del administrador para publicar comentarios.-

Actividad de Insercion de Imagen:

Cargar una imagen resulta facil en ambas plataformas, en Tumblr se hace Click sobre la opcion "Abrir archivo" y luego se carga la foto seleccionada, mientras que en Blogger va a la opcion "Insertar Imagen" abriendo un menu de opciones para hacer click en "elegir archivo", se selecciona el archivo y carga la imagen.-

Actividad de Audio: 

En la plataforma de Tumblr aparece la opcion "Publicar Audio" al hacer click muentra opciones de subir archivo de audio, buscar cancion entre otros. Mientras que Blogger se hace mas dificil insertar audio en este caso me fue imposible.-

Actividad de Video:

En Tumblr se muestra un opcion de enlace en la cual no se visualiza el video, ademas se puede grabar un video e insertarlo, por otra parte en Blogger es mas facuil de cargar haciendo click en la opcion "insertar video" mostrando diferentes opciones para cargarlo, bien sea de Mobile Phone, YOUTUBE, etc.

Web 1.0: Se refiere al concepto original de la web que comenzó con el desarrollo de páginas estáticas HTML que no eran actualizadas frecuentemente. En esta etapa de desarrollo conseguir hits (visitas) y la estética visual eran considerados como unos de los factores más importantes de desarrollo de cualquier Sitio Web.

Web 2.0: Se usa para referirse a una segunda generación de Web basada en comunidades de usuarios y una gama especial de servicios, como las redes sociales, los blogs, los wikis, que fomentan la colaboración y el intercambio ágil de información entre los usuarios. En la Web 2.0, se busca un intercambio de información en dos sentidos, y el usuario deja de tener un rol pasivo y pasa a ser parte de la generación de la información.

World Wide Web: Es un sistema hipermedial que permite el acceso a una diversidad de contenidos a través del seguimiento de enlaces desde un elemento a otro, colocando a disposición de los usuarios referencias o vínculos a otros documentos ya sean en formato de sonidos, gráficas o vídeo.

Skills site builds: Grammar, reading, listening, vocabulary and cultural knowledge.

The description of the site can be advantages for people who visit this site; because it contains several links about interactive learning English activities. This website ha something that catch the attention of the viewers (colors, images, videos, etc.) in order to they can be interested on the information and learning English activities.

What I like about the website: What it makes an interesting site is people from different target levels around the world could improve their English through some articles, readings, listening, videos and practices.

What I did not like about the website: What this webpage does not have attractive for the viewers and the presentation of the topics inside in order to get the attention of the visitors. One disadvantage can be it presents a lot of different information in the main page, and it may be considered overloaded.

EFL/ESL Pedagogical implications of the site: The effectivity of the published links goes with the purpose and the objectives of the page. All the links have enough information of a specific topic; also, they have strategies or others things that visitors can use.
